In MADDspace, we believe that the Performing Arts will not only have your children be responsible and confident but also equip them to be individuals who are well-equipped to handle whatever life may throw at them.
Having said that, we would like to showcase a few of our students we interviewed here at MADDspace who have set an exemplary path that all of us can follow.
In this article, we will be reading about Destinee's journey in the performing arts and her experience here at MADDspace!
Q: How old are you this year?
A: I'm turning 8 this year. Q: How long have you been at MADDspace?
A: I started Come Dance With Me with MADDspace since 4.5YO.
Q: What are some of your classes you are taking in MADDspace?
A: I'm taking my Grade 2 Jazz with Miss Melissa and also Private Jazz with her too.
Q: Which classes are your favourite?
A: I don't have a favourite cause I love both singing and dancing.
Q: What are some of your proudest achievements? (e.g. Diamond Award in B-dazzled Dance Solo, CSTD, LCM Distinction, Asia Pacific Festival Gold, etc.)
A: My proudest achievement is Double Platinum at my first Get The Beat Jazz Solo as well as Diamond award for B'dazzled. This year, I am also the champion for SAFRA Vocal Genre for the Age group 7 & Under.
Q: What's your most memorable experience in MADDspace?
A: My most memorable moment with MADDspace was the opportunity to film an episode of dance class with Uncle Mark Lee 李国煌.
Q: Who's your biggest supporter? (it could be your friend, sister, mummy, daddy, grandparents, teachers, etc.)
A: My biggest supporters are my parents!
Q: Is there anything you like to do apart from singing/dancing/performing? (It could be a hobby like cooking, or making slime, etc.)
A: Apart from performing, I like to play the piano and ukulele to harmonize the songs I like to sing.
Q: If you could have a superpower, what will it be?
A: If I can have a super power, I will want to be invisible like Harry Potter with his invisible cloak.
From Destinee's journey we're able to see that being young is not at all a limit to attain great things in life. All it takes is a spark of interest that will set ablaze one's passion for the Arts and there will then be no turning back from it.
